The real world is just around the corner! Soon you will all be graduating high school, and it will be up to you to decide what goals you would like to reach and the lifestyle you would like to have. This project will help you map out your future goals and plans.
 
 
Objective: Create a presentation in which you share information you researched about education, training, and career. Additionally, you will create a spreadsheet in which you create a budget based off your monthly income from the career of your choice. Share a presentation using professional presentation etiquette.

I gave my students a week to work on this in class, and our class periods are 48 minutes long. Additionally, it took about three days for the students to present. The amount of time spent on this project will vary by class size and students.
 
My students really enjoyed this project and gave them a clearer picture about their future, it was very interesting to see and hear their interest!
